This application is provided to enable citizens to easily report non-emergency incidents. This method should not be used if anyone was injured as a result of the Incident, or if an officer should be dispatched to the crime location.

IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY OR NEED TO REPORT A CRIME IN PROGRESS, DO NOT USE THIS SITE. PLEASE DIAL 9-1-1.

This form can only be used for reporting crimes within the city limits of Midland. If the crime occurred outside the city limits of Midland, please contact the appropriate agency.

You may submit an online crime report for the following types of offenses:

 

Theft (including bike thefts)

Criminal Mischief (Vandalism)

 Defacing Property (Graffiti)

 Lost Property

Phone Harassment

 Suspicious Circumstances

Burglary of Vehicle

 Forgery

Credit/Debit Card Abuse

Identity Theft

 

 

 

Please be very specific with the information you provide

You should NOT submit an online report if the incident involves any of the following:

  • A traffic crash
  • Physical injury to any person
  • A threat of imminent danger and/or injury
  • An incident in progress or just occurred
  • Physical evidence or property will need to be recovered from the scene
  • Suspect(s) and/or witness(es) to immediately be interviewed
  • Auto theft reports
  • A weapon is involved

Within 5 business days, a member of the Midland Police Department will contact you either by phone or email to notify you of the status of your report or to verify your report request.

FALSE REPORTING

Reporting any crime that is false or malicious is punishable by law. Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. All violators will be prosecuted for filing a false police report to authorities. Police Report information is public record.
